Excited to be headed for Toledo for the wonder book festival, Claire’s Day. I am so honored to be invited to a festival that is all about getting the youth to love reading! It’s all about the kids!
DAISY GIRL SCOUTS
I had the amazing opportunity to work with these young ladies last night. We talked about the writing process and they wrote books of their own. Such vivid imaginations. Expect great things from these girls! September 2021

I’m headed to Camp Ken Jockety in Galloway, Ohio on September 9, 2021 to work with the Daisy troop to earn their STEM badge. We will read FLY, GIRL, FLY to inspire the girls to follow dreams of their very own. The girls will also learn how to write their story too!
BOOK LOVERS! DOG LOVERS! DON’T MISS THIS EVENT!!
Cover to Cover Bookstore of Upper Arlington, Ohio will host a book signing at Mallway Park/Veterans Plaza on July 17, 2021 at 10:00 am. It’s a book signing to celebrate Bonded by Battle: The Powerful Friendships of Military Dogs and Soldiers. The book is now available in paperback! Come find a forever friend. Three local shelters will bring along dogs seeking loving homes. A lemonade stand and the sale of homemade dog biscuits will be available with all proceeds to go to a canine cause. Meet Sgt. Chuck Shuck, veteran dog handler who served in Iraq. The story of Sgt. Shuck and his partner Gabe unfolds in Chapter eleven of Bonded by Battle. Free Gabe book with purchase of Bonded by Battle. I’ll be there signing books too!
FLY GIRLS: HISTORIC WOMEN PILOTS
I’m headed to Oshkosh Wisconsin to give a presentation at the largest air show in the country! Come join in the conversation about Amelia Earhart, Jerrie Mock, Patty Wagstaff, and Shaesta Waiz. Saturday July 31 at 11:30 in the Museum. Be inspired by the women who followed their aviation dreams despite plenty of turbulence!
